How to set up Nili in a mail app
- Choose add account → manual setup (or "other account") in your mail app.
- Enter your full Nili email address and password.
- Pick IMAP for incoming mail and enter the server, port and security from the table above.
- Enter the SMTP server for outgoing mail (email.nili.email, port 465) and enable authentication with the same login.
If the login keeps failing, enable IMAP/POP access in the Nili web settings and use an app password if your account uses two-step verification.

Nili email settings: FAQ
What is the Nili SMTP server?
The outgoing (SMTP) server of Nili is email.nili.email, port 465 with SSL/TLS. Log in with your full email address.
What are the Nili IMAP settings?
Incoming mail (IMAP): server email.nili.email, port 993, security SSL/TLS, user name: your full email address.
Should I use IMAP or POP3?
Use IMAP if you read your email on more than one device: messages and folders stay in sync on the server. POP3 downloads messages to one device and is only useful for offline archives on a single computer.
Why does my Nili login fail in a mail app?
Most providers block plain password logins from mail apps when two-step verification is on. Create an app-specific password in your account's security settings, or use an app that supports OAuth sign-in. Also check that IMAP or POP access is enabled in the webmail settings.
