What is a disposable email address?

A temporary inbox from services like Mailinator, Guerrilla Mail or 10 Minute Mail. It works for a few minutes or hours and is often used to grab a download or trial without giving a real address.

Should I block disposable email addresses?

For free trials, coupons and community sign-ups, blocking them reduces abuse and fake accounts. For newsletters you may just want to flag them, because the subscriber will not receive future emails anyway.

How often is this list updated?

We rebuild it regularly from the community-maintained disposable-email-domains project. New temporary email services appear all the time, so no list is ever complete; combine it with a mailbox check, because many throwaway inboxes stop accepting mail after a few hours.
